Artist Intro
Meet Meghana Satish Khare, an artist who paints not with brushes alone, but with her own hands. Working primarily in finger painting with acrylics, she believes nature, in its purest form, is art itself, and her work is her way of bringing that purity onto canvas.
Her Journey
Meghana was born and raised between a small village and a town, in a farming family where her parents together ran an old glass factory business alongside their farming. Nature was never far from her — it was woven into everyday life. She went on to complete her degree in Advertising, and worked in the commercial space for a while. But her true passion was always painting, and eventually, she chose to leave commercial work behind to fully immerse herself in colour.
Meghana paints with her fingers, choosing to work with pure acrylic colours rather than mixing them into shades. This deliberate simplicity keeps her work fresh, vivid, and alive, every piece carries the directness of her touch, unfiltered and honest.
Inspiration to Her Art
Much of Meghana’s work is inspired by her own garden. An avid gardener herself, she spends hours immersed in nature, feeling its textures firsthand, and that intimacy finds its way straight into her paintings. For her, nature isn’t just a subject; it’s a feeling she returns to again and again.
